[He turns around to embrace her properly. It's not hard to be taller than him - he is a very short man - but he does appreciate it when she gets to sweep him off his feet.]

[ Her longer arms fold around him to pull him close. Not so much as to be scandalous, at least not yet. ]

I had to change clothes a bunch, but it's worth it. [ The maid outfit would have been far too short for this form, besides she wears dresses all the time but rarely a suit. ]

It is in the back room. I think my silver hybrid form would look nice in the blazer, combined with the stockings and heels from the maid costume. [ And nothing else, obviously. ]

[ Into the room she goes! And two minutes later he'll find her as described, silvery and gleaming, wearing little enough that it won't be difficult to remove. [ A bit later, she finds herself resting against the floor pillows, face down so she doesn't crush her huge wings, a blanket pulled up to her waist. ]

I do so enjoy being able to change again. I should do it more often.

We were talking and I mentioned joining the guilds when they opened, and he was musing about a branch of his guild from his home world. Neither of us ever questioned that I'd be a member... except.

Well. The rules. And my tendency to go on rampages.

So, not an invitation, but he did at least mention it to you directly. He did ask me if I wanted to participate in the fundraiser, which one would think would be an excellent time to ask if I wanted to be in the guild.

For goodness' sake. Just ask him. If you turn it into why didn't he invite you and this and that, he'll just feel bad.

[ One gets the feeling her smile is ever so slightly strained. Don't make this harder than it needs to be. ]
