[Rinku doesn't go to the clinic often, and if she does it's just to pop her head in on the way to work and wave at the staff. Which probably makes it extremely concerning that she showed up with what are clearly electrical burns up her arm, which hangs limply at her side, and various other battle injuries, and came to be seen by whoever was open.

When Kantera sees Rinku, she laughs a little and rubs the back of her head with her good arm.]

We sorta didn't have any healers with us...

[Of course he's alarmed to see her, but first things first: he sings his song of healing and puts some of his spring healing in it as well, causing the worst of the burns to fade away and some of the pain to cease.]

[Rinku gives a relieved sigh, starting to visibly heal. Her arm still lies useless, but she rubs it with a wince.]

Sorry, Kantera-san. I was on a quest, and usually it's fine even if we don't bring any healers, but we were underwater and I got too close to the crab so Hijikata-san's lightning tattoo thing hit me too...

[Kantera sings until he's healed as much of it as is possible, and then takes a breath before he answers her.]

I'm only glad you weren't hurt more. -But yes, next time, consider bringing some sort of healing item with you at least, even if you don't have a dedicated healer.

[Rinku looks at her arm, the spidering burns fading until they look like pale bruises. She gives her fingers a testing twitch, then brightens and flings her arms around Kantera.]

Ow ow -- wah, thank you! It really worked! I can move it again and everything!

Oof - careful now, it may still need some rest before 'tis fully healed.

[Gently patting her other shoulder.]

[She lets go and rubs the back of her head.]

Ehe. Thank you! You guys are really good at this stuff. Though I guess you were probably a healer before Ellipsa, huh?

I was, yes, so I have some expertise.

[Spring powers definitely help though.]

Is that why your healing is singing? It's so cool! I wish I could do magic singing... oh, I guess I can, huh? It probably doesn't count because it's some technology sound wave something something explanation.

Ah, about that - didn't they offer temporary tattoos with a variety of magical powers associated with them, somewhat recently? I remember being able to sing to cure minor wounds being one of them.

[Less powerful than what he does, but still useful!]

Yeah! Permanent ones, too. Though I dunno... I didn't wanna get one because back where I was living before, you're not allowed to go a lot of places with a tattoo since the only people with tattoos are in the mob. But it'd be really helpful if I had more power...

You certainly don't have to if you wouldn't be comfortable with it. But perhaps try a temporary tattoo and see how you feel?

Huh... Maybe. Like when there's a big mission. I thought about it before and I didn't then, but I was worried then that I changed too much for home. But when I did go home, I was the exact same. Maybe it isn't a problem?

Your friends who love you will accept you even if you return with a tattoo, I'm certain.

[Rinku giggles.] It sounds kinda silly if you put it that way.

Many of our worries are, if you look at them in the right light.

Does that mean you've been worried about stuff other people said was fine, too?

Now and then? I have been known to stress about this and that.

Yeah... you told me one time it was because of hell, right? But you're safe now.

That is true. But there are still dangerous quests, and ways for people to get hurt.

[As she well knows, having just gotten injured!]

Yeah... [She rubs her healing arm and makes a pained face.] That's true, huh? I didn't mean to screw up.

Even the best of us slip up and get hurt in battle, sometimes.

Still, I'm trying to get better than I am so I can keep up with all of you guys.

Which is quite admirable, but even if you were as strong as Saya, I would still fuss.

Maybe that's just because you're so nice.
