He and Zari were obviously living together in that dream, and he was maybe-unhealthily devoted to her. Aster definitely had him confused for someone else. Doctor had seemed more fully aware of what was going on, but... Lupine definitely hadn't bothered with the thing he usually likes to say before he gets that kind of intimate with someone.
