Upcycle app.

Name: Mini
Age: 27
Contact info: [plurk.com profile] Misheard

Character: Kantera
Canon: End Roll
Canon Point: End of Day 5
CRAU, Canon AU: N/A
Character age: 27, as far as he knows. Technically he's a dream figment that has only existed for a few days but he thinks he's 27 and acts like a grandpa.

Canon Abilities/Powers: Out of combat, Kantera is really good at working with herbs to make medicines.

In combat, Kantera is basically a fairly squishy mage type. His initial weapons are charms, and his second type of weapon is a temari. His usable skills are as follows:
Breather - take a breather to recover a little health.
Glacier - a rain of ice, dealing small ice damage to all enemies.
Mega-Glacier - Glacier, but with medium damage instead.
Cold Charm - makes all allies stronger against ice.
Warm Charm - makes all allies stronger against fire.
Light Charm - makes all allies stronger against light.
Dark Charm - makes all allies stronger against dark.
Deadly Portrait - does large ice damage to one enemy with one of those portraits of the deceased you see in anime. These things.
Higanbana Song - recovers considerable health for one ally.
Temari Fun - medium damage + Confuse status ailment to one enemy, only usable with a temari equipped.
Temari Lottery - random effect out of: HP/MP recovery, unequip all accessories, cure status ailments, lose HP, inflict Illusion, and full recovery, all for the whole party. Only usable with a temari equipped.

What is their greatest negative emotion towards an object, situation, or person in their past?:
Kantera once had an aging grandfather, who he loved and admired dearly. Watching someone he so respected slowly decline in senility filled him with despair, and eventually he poisoned and killed his own grandfather.

Kantera feels immensely guilty about this. He fled the country despite no evidence suggesting anyone would find out about his crime, changed his name... He had nightmares of being accused by laughing jizo statues and of his grandfather's face, and the guilt haunted him for years to come.
How aware are they of this negative emotion, and how do they act on it in canon?:
In life, Kantera begged a child to kill him, because he couldn't live with the guilt. Granted, it was a tween who he knew had already killed multiple people, but still. Yikes.

Technically, this Kantera is unaware any of that happened - because he's a dream figment rather than the real person, a dream creation made to fill Russell Seager (the boy who killed him and a lot of other people) with guilt. However, he has flashes of memory that he doesn't understand. When he does fully remember, he remembers and empathizes with the emotion of wanting to be killed perfectly, but there isn't really time for him to fully consider whether he still feels guilty for something that he technically didn't do.
What is their greatest virtue?:
Kantera is generally unflappable, accepting everything as it comes without judgment or worry. He appears to be carefree, but that isn't quite accurate - it's more that what other people do or think doesn't bother him. (His guilt is ultimately self-centered in nature; he can't live with himself, but the only person he imagines is judging him is dead.) The increasing creepiness of his environments don't bother him at all.

He doesn't fuss too much about the consequences of his own carelessness, and he's unlikely to judge anyone else on moral grounds. (After all, he's done worse.)

How aware are they of their virtue, and how do they act on it in canon?:
Kantera's very aware that he doesn't take much too seriously. He's absentminded enough to frequently lose even important belongings. When he hears about a Dragon Scroll that's rampaging in a storehouse, his request is to go see it because it's a legendary artifact. He does fuss about his friends' health, as a doctor, and especially about Russell's safety... but he also charges them for medicine (at reasonable prices, at least).

In life, he promised Russell that they could tell each other anything, and gave him shelter after he killed someone. Being nonjugmental is still a virtue even when it means harboring someone you know is a serial killer, right...?

Items: The Dragon Compass (which will do nothing here) and a charm.

Samples: Here and here
Special Notes: hopefully it's cool to app a figment of someone's dream, Real Kantera probably isn't appable anyway
